Private Instruction
The Community Music School is proud to help you or your child develop valuable technical skills for their instrument. Our private instruction is founded in the belief that all can learn to play an instrument and sing! We infuse the Suzuki philosophy as well as modern educational practices into the development of our curriculum. Our teachers work together across the instruments in professional development and mentorship such that our students genuinely feel our students are part of a larger community. Fundamental to our private instruction are opportunities for performing, engaging with guest artists, and making music with friends.
Program Information
The Community Music School has expanded! We are excited to now offer private lessons on
voice, piano, percussion as well as the following instruments:

Weekly Private Lessons (14 weeks with one makeup) and Weekly Group/Musicianship Lessons

Private instruction also includes a weekly group session with other students.

All students enrolled in private lessons are invited to participate in our school recitals and special events.

Registration for violin and piano is closed for the Fall 2021. All other instruments are open. Please contact us for more information or to be added to our waitlist.
