Musicianship and Composition
Musicianship is a cornerstone in the development of young musicians. Our faculty teaches from the ABRSM method which offers up to 8 levels of courses. Each year students have the option to test out of their current level. Students that are beyond the curriculum have the option of pursuing composition with our composition faculty.
Musicianship
Fall 2021 marks the introduction of the ABRSM curriculum sequence. CMS will offer Musicianship 1 in the 2021-2022 academic year. We will continue to include all levels of the ABRSM curriculum as needed by our students. All beginning students age 10+ will automatically be enrolled in Musicianship 1. The fee for this course is packaged with the private lesson and group tuition.

Musicianship 1 will be held on Tuesdays at 5 p.m. and will alternate weekly with studio/group classes.
